I was very impressed with how clean all our ports were on this side of Mexico. Each port was clean. Here we took a Waterfront Segway Ride. The Segways were a lot of fun to ride, however, the group before us was late getting back and then they cut our time short to make up for it. Then they were going to take us to a Mexican restaurant & a beach near by, but we didn’t know what they were talking about because that was not what was on our tour. We were suppose to go to the Golden Zone, but they said it was too far. So we asked to go back to the ship, because one of our friends was getting sick. They did after we picked up some more people.

You actually port in an industrial area and take a trolly to the terminal where there are several little shops, inside and outside. Once outside the gate, its a little sketchy looking and quite a walk into the downtown area. I would recommend a city tour. The Cathedral is a must see. It was absolutely beautiful! The beaches were really nice over by the hotel zone. Not a bad port but would highly recommend having an excursion planned for this port.

This is by far my favorite port on the Mexican Rivera cruise. The beach was safe and very relaxing. I’ve never had any problems at this port.

Had anyone went on the Mazatlan shopping, resort, beach, and lunch booked through Princess? Going in March on Ruby. Also looking for recommendations for excursions in Cabo and Puerto Vallarta

We did the Lighthouse Hike. Tour guide was informative and funny. He made various stops to make the hike manageable, but the last 350 steps at the top were tough. After the hike we had time to explore old dowtown by following the "Blue line".

We are going to do the horse riding at Stone Island. Called Maria's Happy Horses. Great reviews for this company. Have done it before many years ago. And super reasonable.

We did not do an excursion. Wish we would have. I think the cities have so much more to offer if you do excursions. I think you get to see so much more that way than by just walking around and not knowing where to go.

Did the zipline excursion - it was great! But you had to break yourself with a glove and I had a hard time doing that but no one else did. The city we traveled through looked scary. When we got back there were lots of shops to buy things.

Just OK. But it's the cruise that we love.

Although it was about half an hour bus ride to the Golden District, it was worth it. Once we go there, everything was close and easy to get to.
