We didn’t book an excursion because of things we had heard about Mazatlán. We were pleasantly Surprised! We really liked this town. We took a taxi to the downtown area about a 5 minute ($8 us) trip. Walked around, ate local DELICIOUS food, did a little shopping. Then we headed to the beach. It was great!

Very neat town for the most part. We did not do an excursion, but ate a great little restaurant at a hotel called Casa Lucia. It was the best food we ate on the entire trip.

Nice port, we did a 2 hour tour with Freddy. He took us around the town and was very knowledgeable about things. Great tour.

Shopping at this port was not as exciting or fun as the other ports. Limited shore excursions compared to the others as well.
