Service and Staff

2 out of 5
Room steward excellent; dining servers overeall mediocre to sometimes indignant (ie. looking tired, jaded, or just emotion less)

Ship Quality

2 out of 5
Overall okay and we enjoyed ourselves just fine despite mediocracy. The only part that really disappointed or upset me was that the ship's chimney smoke was blowing at the direction of the Kids' Splash Pool Place. I could smell the fume standing on the Splash Pool Deck. There were no signs, and the unsuspecting parents and kids were under the fume. I even asked a Norwegian technician who happened to be there to confirm how bad the smell was, but he concurred that it was bad for the kids. That for me was unacceptable with the children's safety being compromised. We will not do Norewegian again.

Cabin / Stateroom

What a load. The ships exhaust bothered you? It's a ship, it burns Bunker Fuel and it has 19700 Horsepower pushing 975 feet of steel through the ocean. Divide that by your Prius 85 hp. You cannot fault NCL for their ship exhaust, fault MAN of Germany who makes the engine. I've been on NCL, Princess and RCL. All the ships had exhaust and when we went around the Horn we had a relative wind of around 75-100 MPH and the exhaust hung around the fantail like fog.
