We checked in a week before our cruise
Online, printed all e docs, and were given a check in time of 11:30. We got to Long Beach Airport at 9:55- Uber’ed to the port and were checked in and on the ship by 11:00.
Flawless.
Easy.
Amazing!
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The main dining rooms and buffet (Complimentary dining) were good. The food was well prepared. However, my only complaint was for a 7 day cruise there wasn’t enough variety.
We did eat at 3 of the specialty restaurants-
Cagney’s BOMB! Ocean Blue - not a
True seafood restaurant don’t waste your time, and Q’s - good food and good vibe!
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
The boys all did the race track and loved it. Definitely in my opinion for the price is a one time thing. Plus they shut it down like 12 times for “bumping” so that’s annoying.
We went to make “reservations” for laser tag (which I didn’t know you had to do) the second to last day. We were told they were no more slots available. So I had a very disappointed 10 year old. So that’s kinda poopy.
Pools are great! Lots of stuff going on, music,
Games, they are warm!
Tube waterslide is cool!
Stand up water slide - Um I didn’t make it over the hump and let me tell you more people DID
NOT make it than DID not sure that was
Designed well!! Plus heads up they make you take off ALL YOUR JEWELRY including a wedding ring you’ve been wearing for 15
Years that you don’t remove.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
The one show SIX that we saw was very
Good. I was very disappointed that literally by the time we got to our room on the ship, all other entertainment was booked. The comedy shows etc. That’s not cool. I don’t feel like reservations for onboard activities should be allowed.
Little disappointed on the entertainment side of things.
Children's Programs
5 out of 5
I have a 10 and 15 year old and they had the times of their lives!
The 15 year old had a birthday on the ship and his kids club threw him a party, made him feel
Special. It was great.
The 10 year old put on a huge performance in the bliss theater the last night -
Super fun!
5 stars for sure!!
My kids don’t go because they have to- the WANT to!
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Our steward was amazing, our waiters were awesome, everyone was great! There was 1 only
One bartender on the pool deck that was grumpy the whole trip. Other than that. Great service!
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
GORGEOUS! This ship is beautiful. Very clean and well maintained.
Cabin / Stateroom

Balcony room - family of 4
Perfect size
The bathroom is nice size and had A LOT of shelving for your toiletries.
Closet is a good size and has 4 shelves.
There are also 2 smaller cabinets.
There was a lot of storage opinion.
We didn’t book an excursion because of things we had heard about Mazatlán.
We were pleasantly Surprised! We really liked this town.
We took a taxi to the downtown area about a 5 minute ($8 us) trip.
Walked around, ate local DELICIOUS food, did a little shopping. Then we headed to the beach.
It was great!
PV is a cool town. Go to the beach it’s beautiful.
Or take a taxi to the boardwalk and just walk around.
We booked and excursion because we had credits and it was stupid and a waste time.
“Discover Puerto Vallarta”
We took a water taxi $30 for all 4 of us. He dropped us off at the beach we bought snorkel masks on amazon and we snorkeled for several hours. It was amazing.
Even though you can walk to one of the beaches from the port. We know now!
We went and ate at the Crazy Lobster (have to take a taxi) friend told us about it! So good!!!!
We went and got luggage tags from guest services for disembarkation times (which FYI I wouldn’t know we had to do unless I saw the flyer AT guest services the day before) we took the late time so we could enjoy breakfast which we did.
When our colored tag was called the line through the ship went pretty quick - then there was about a 30 minute hold up.
Getting an UBER out of the port is like waiting for pigs to fly. That was ridiculous- it took about 45 minutes, 1 left us, the other took forever to find us! Hot mess! lol
