The assault of the vendors. Once you clear security when you hit the shopping area be prepared to be verbal assaulted for cabs, water taxis, shops, etc. Constant yelling until you clear the area.

We did a land and sea excursion. We saw some really beautiful areas of the area. I got to buy some of my favorite Mexican sodas while we were there and found a new one that I really like.

This was supposed to be the first stop. It ended up being the last. Due to a tropical storm, week before. By the time we arrived all of the beaches were closed.... The water is amazing and a gorgeous blue. Too bad we didn't have time to enjoy. The shipped was supposed to arrive at 7am. We arrived a little past the hour. However, you need to be shipped to the main land. We were finally able to get off of the ship at 9am. We needed to be back by 2. :( The city is 100% built for tourism. Expect to pay$$

Beautiful, simply beautiful! We did the whale watching excursion and it was, hands down, one of the best moments of my life. I cried. We saw four male humpback whales breaching out of the ocean, REPEATEDLY! I have tons of video footage. Roger, our tour guide and a marine biologist was so excited! He said he had never seen anything like it. We were in a small boat of 21 people and we were so close to the whales, it was surreal. I feel blessed to have had such a breath taking experience.

Did the Whale Watching on the big boat (no weight limits) - it was great! Unlimited drinks. We aren't alcohol drinkers but they kept us going in sodas and virgin strawberry daquiries and pina coladas. Also unlimited chips and salsa. We got some great pictures of the arch and saw quite a few whales. I think it was much better than doing one of the little boats. We came back and walked to a beach close by. It was kind of dirty and the locals didn't like us there.

We did an excursion in town to Los Arcos...just beautiful. The next day we took a water taxi to Medrano Beach. We shopped with the locals and enjoyed this town very much. Love the locals...such hard workers!

We stayed on board, 3 ships in port, too many peeps. That being said a good day on the ship today, food in the buffet was great. Ceviche fresh fish, and fresh tomatillo, jalapeno. Best I have ever tasted. Terrace pool uncrowded, warm, and relaxing.

Probably my favorite port of the cruise. We disembarked and went to a large resort on the shore (we could see our ship!). The food there was good and there were many pools to swim in.
