Review summary
We booked the cruise as we were looking for an easy get away. We live about 25 miles from San Diego port so made it very easy. Nice not to have to get on a plane. RelaxingEmbarkation
Checked in and on the ship in about 30 minutes and able to go directly to our cabin to drop off our carry on bag. Also before we stepped inside the ship everyone had to use hand sanitizer.

Food and Dining
Food was good and like all cruises you eat too much.
Onboard Activities
We didn’t really participate in activities but the Oosterdam isn’t really known for a big night life either.

Service and Staff
Service and staff was outstanding. Everyone very friendly and always there to get you what ever you needed.
Ship Quality
It’s an older smaller ship but good size for us. They were constantly cleaning the common areas and railings. They were definitely taking precautions.
Cabin / Stateroom
Good size, comfortable bed and nice having the balcony. We were just around the corner from the elevator so very convenient. Very clean
Ship tip
If you’re looking for a party ship or big night life the Oosterdam is not for you. We had been on it before and we were just looking for a cruise to relax. Not many young people and very few children it’s an older crowd.

Ports of call
We didn’t do excursion, have been before. We just got off and shopped around by the port.
Disembarkation
We had a time of 9:10 to get off and was off by 9. Very easy and organized wish they were all this easy.
