Overrated, dirty. Not impressed at all with Acapulco. Cliff divers are a bit overrated too.

Hired a private driver and told him we did NOT want to shop, see hotels or flea markets. He took us to see the cliff divers......90 minutes early so we could visit the shopping. Would NOT visit again.

My friends and I went on a kayak excursion, which was awesome! We are all aged 40 to 50, and it was a blast! Later, we saw the cliff divers, which was incredible.

We did the horse back riding excursion. I liked it but my husbands horse had a tick infestation.

This was my first cruise. 2007. With my mom. Been cruising ever since. We had dinner over looking the city. Went and saw the cliff divers at night which was amazing to see. Very nice time.

We had been there before and we went to different places, be careful with the taxis and drivers that want to charge you a lot of money, better get transportation away from the pier.

We walked to see the Cliff Divers. Don't take the excursion. You can walk it pretty easily - there is a short steep hill you have to climb. For $20 you can sit on the hotel balcony and get 2 drinks or a drink and lunch and watch the divers. It is worth the visit.

This is the last year they will be stopping in Acapulco, so you won't be able to release baby golfino sea turtles again. We have done this several times and it is always fun. The bus ride can be treacherous though, there was some kind of protest we got routed around and it took 2 hours instead of 1.

This was a great port lots of fun excursions to do either through the cruise ship or on your own. And since it's Mexico, there's always Tequila to help make "wise" decisions.
