We set sea turtles free. Very fun and cute. We had visited before so was good tour for us. Great for kids.

Had been there in the 70's; has grown, but not really gotten better. All the excursions include the cliff divers, which we didn't need to see again; we just walked off ship and along the beaches. Pestered by locals trying to get us to buy things for the first 1/2 mile, but after that an enjoyable walk.

Took NCL Bay and cliff diver tour by boat. Great vantage place to see the divers and four of them swam out to our boat for pictures with us. Open bar and Mexican lunch provided.

Google the phrase "most dangerous cities on the planet " stick with areas that are full of people from your cruise or the cruise sponsored excursions.

We did the Bay Cruise to watch the cliff diving. Much better than past trips when we drove through traffic and stood around waiting for the cliff divers.

We did not do an excursion at this port. We got a taxi and got a city tour from them for much cheaper.

We loved our time in Acapulco! Again, don’t book your excursions through the Excursions Desk! We spent $20 a person for 6 people and had the most amazing 4 hour tour! Visited places no one else we talked to saw including the hotel Elvis always stayed at in the 60s/70s, cliff divers (as close as you can get without climbing up with them), the Acapulco “Beverly Hills” and so, so much more.

Chuck hailed a taxi driver to tour the city. We visited a fort, saw many fabulous hotels which previously were locations visited by past movie stars and then participated in the Aztec Dinner and Cliff Divers excursion. Not one that I would recommend, nor ever repeat. The taxi driver trip was inexpensive, as shared by the 6 of us and was much more entertaining than the excursion.

Took a sightseeing excursion after I got off the ship. Very nice, got to see a lot of Acapulco. I want to go back. The guide showed us the parts to visit.
