Review summary

It was our second cruise, the first we went to Alaska, on NCL, my husband promise not to cruise again, but he finnaly he agreed and we went. What a difference !, the food to start with was so superior, the cabin with a balcony, that we were upgrade to, was huge and very nice, our room stwardess was wonderful, so neat and clean, we had ice all the time, they'll fix our room just after we would left. The room service was awsome always on time and accurate. The Spirit is beautiful and enormous. The service at the Empire room excelente, thanks to Gustavo, Romel and Anita. The Supper Club, was good but as little too sofisticated, impresive. The music there was excelent too. We had to stop in Ensenada instead of Manzanillo, but it was ok, (even if we live an hour away,) as long as we'll keep ourselves away from the storm. We went to Acapulco and Ixtapa (too short time to enjoy this beautiful place), my husband complain about spending a lot of time on the ship (two days going down and 2 days going up), but is up to you and how many ports you choose to visit. My only complain was, No Mariachi room with Margaritas and tequila shots, that should be a must in the cruise, no Salsa music, the ship was loaded with latino people and party crowds, that would have been very happy if the CEO would include that kind of entretainment on that beautiful ship.

Ports of call

Zihuatanejo/Ixtapa, Mexico

We have not been there we loved it, the Ixtapa islad with great beaches and the best Huachinango (Red Snapper) in garlic (al mojo de ajo), go there early so you have time to visit the four beaches
Don't Miss: Ixtapa Island

Acapulco, Mexico

We had been there before and we went to different places, be careful with the taxis and drivers that want to charge you a lot of money, better get transportation away from the pier.
Don't Miss: go and visit the Johnny Weismuller home now is the Flamingo oon top of the highest cliffs in Acapulco and if its Thursday don't miss the pozole day and the shrimp tamales they are awsome
