I was not impressed with the surfing excursion. They were late getting to the pier to meet us, and provides substandard equipment.

Recommend any one who visits this island to go on a whale watching. The tour that we went on they went out of their way to ensure that we saw "pods of whales" The luau was very entertaining, the food wasn't too bad either.

Spent the day at our leisure. Went by local shuttle to outlet stores. Made our way back to port walking along the esplanade. Great place, friendly people. Lunched at Cool Cat Cafe which was excellent. Had a short wait for a table, but after that was fast service and great food.

Love Maui! Yes, I did “The Best of Maui” excursion which was quite nice except I was squashed in a small van with twelve passengers for six hours. Crystal gave us a small rebate because of this.

Went to beach and ate at place on beach but can't remember name. It was good but not better than average.

This town and coast line are beautiful. Great place for a rental car but you have to rent it in Kahului and keep it a couple of days to see it all. We took the submarine trip and that was a waste. Could see all the tropical fish so well at the acquarium and much easier.
