Arrived via Carnival Miracle on a Friday. Traffic was terrible, however we let other people do th e driving. We took Walmart Shuttle bus to Walmart for very great priced souvenirs. Spent $126 there. Ordered Uber and went to beautiful Waikiki Beach. Took lots of photos and walked along the beach. Took Uber to hotel to meet the shuttle to Germain's Luau. The food and entertainment was awesome at the luau. For sure we recommend the same package we purchased in which you ate treated and taken care of like a VIP. The most expensive package it was way worth the price.

We stayed in Waikiki 4 days before the cruise. Absolutely everything we’ve imagined

Honolulu is obviously very touristy but still a very special place. We rented a car and toured the island.

We didn't have an excursion booked for this but took a taxi to Pearl Harbor and looked around on our own, again much cheaper than going with a ship excursion and then we took a taxi around the island and saw a lot of the main sites. I feel I saw a lot more than I would have on a ship excursion, and paid a fraction of the cost.

Big city, lots to see and do here. Very grateful that we overnighted here. Friendly, clean and easy to get around. Uber is your friend.

Do a circle tour of the island. Much more to see than Waikiki.
