Took the water taxi, this was very confusing with little help from the ship staff. We walked in the rain one evening, second day had beautiful weather and toured all the alleys, got lost, great pizza and wine breaks.

It was awesome but there was some sort of religious holiday so most things were shut down. Regardless there was enough to see to keep me busy all day.

Visited on our own before the cruise. Loved Venice with the canals all over the city! Very beautiful city! Enjoyed walking around and visiting cafes. I did book an excursion but it was cancelled without notification.

Has two amazing days here. The ship cruised past the city and I must have taken a thousand pictures. Explored the whole city and hit all the big spots. I want to go back. Venice stole our hearts. We were there in June and it was pretty darn hot. We are from Arizona and used to heat but with the humidity…….

Nice city for a good long walk. You can get around on foot without any issues. There are some amazing restaurants to check out.

Saint Mark’s/Doge Palace tour (expedia) was fabulous Murano/Burano tour - nice to see both islands, but would not return to Murano again (glass factory was not a high point). Burano was very charming.
