Venice is a great city to walk. Unfortunately the city was flooded in many places so getting around was a challenge. We could not get to St Mark’s Square but crossed the Rialto Bridge and had a gondola ride.

Flying a quarter way around the work and sailing for 12 days only to get a half a day in Venice is kind of disappointing. Venice deserves more time. Shuttle boat service to the city was a joke it took 90 minutes from the time we disembarked our ship to get to Venice

Loved this city, just not enough time. Takes about 20-30 minutes from the port to the city center and waterbuses from Murano didn't run as often as they originally said. Gondola was fun, but St Mark's Cathedral and Square was great. Also having dinner on the Grand Canal at a sidewalk cafe was wonderful.
