NCL had buses to city center (dropped off right next to the cathedral) $15 round trip. We walked around town toured the cathedral (costs 8 Euro to get in and another 8 euro for a self guided tour device) was beautiful the exit of cathedral is on a back street and its easy to get lost.

Very nice port. A long walk from the ship to the taxi and front of port, but there are benches along the way. Mostly inside though and there is wifi offered in the port.

We decided to take a taxi (about 20 euros more or less each way) to Palmanova Beach. It is large, clean and there are many restaurants across from the promenade. We were told that there are many beaches that are much nicer but this was a nice beach and only about 15-20 minutes from the port.

Pleasant port with ship right in town, however you need to pay for shuttle to get out of the industrial port.

Excursion with Shore Excursions. Climbed cliffs, jumped off and zip line into the water at the end. Be sure to wear the full wet suit. The scenery is stunning
