Not a favourite of mine, shops are always closed and doesn’t come across as a very friendly place. I wouldn’t rush back...

Went to the Hercules Tower (you have to book a time to go up) and aquarium, kids love it. Get a LaCoruna Card from a tourist information centre. It only costs €11 adult, and half price for kids for 24 hours, it allows to visit 5 different venues. If you travel with few friends, get a taxi. Cheap enough.

Torre de Hercules was beautiful, but a long climb up steep stairs. The tram was easy to navigate and a nice ride.
