We took the Tour of Helsinki, Porvoo & Haikko excursion. We viewed the City buildings, walked around Helsinki Senate Square, the beautiful huge white “Helsinki Cathedral”, memorials and little shops. Very nice excursion. We also saw the Greek Orthodox Church located on top of the large hill. The outside of the church was very impressive and the inside was amazing.

We probably didn't give Helsinki much of a chance, as the excursion was only a half-day, and I suspect, based on the positive comments I've heard, this city has a lot to offer.

We did the hop-on-hop off bus tour in Helsinki. We were glad we visited and toured the city but it did not have the wow factor of other visited ports.

Took the hop-on / hop-off bus with a self-guided map. There were a few highlights, but overall that city does not have so much to offer compared to other ports of call. I was impressed with the amounts of pastry and coffee shops! (good quality too)

Short time at this port, hard to do a lot. Market square a high point to see on top of the city.
