Lots of close by shopping but natives are aggressive, pushy and it did not feel Safe

We took the shore excursion to the ancient sites and then to the beach. Our tour guide was really fabulous and was so enthusiastic in her showing us Palermo....the beach was very nice and the lunch nice.

Tour cancelled so we were put on a four hour walking tour, which was TOO much! The guide was great, we enjoyed seeing the market, the beautiful buildings, but just a little too long. Only 30 minutes to shop!

The hop on/hop off tour here is an inexpensive alternative to a shore excursion.

Skip this port...dirty, smelly, not much to see. We wet on a tour to a "castle" and the catacombes. Boring, dirty, uniteresting. Pizza here - not so good.

They should get rid of this port and spend an extra day in Rome.

We hired a taxi driver who took us to different points of Palermo. There was a park (unfortunately, I don't recall the name of it) he took us to that had a very unique Tree. The Gelato was excellent as well.
