Review summary

This was an Italian crusie experience in every way...we knew that going into it and were very pleased with the experience. We speak Italian and really enjoyed the food, music, shows, ports, even the piano bar. If you are expecting an American cruise, you might think twice. THere were Americans on board, but it is predominately Italian.

Ports of call

Savona (Genoa), Italy

Very clean and nice. We took a taxi to a beach spot which was superb...dont' recommend the excursion--strike out on your own!

Tunis, Tunisia

We took the excursion to a resort and the beach. You can see how poor it is although the resort was very nice and clean.

Palma De Mallorca, Balearic Islands

We chose to haggle with a taxi driver to get an overall tour of the city and then take us to a beach--truly wonderful! THe medieval area is very qaint and clean. THe beach was gorgeous---white sands, clear waters...one of the best!
Don't Miss: A nice beach.

Palermo, Sicily

We took the shore excursion to the ancient sites and then to the beach. Our tour guide was really fabulous and was so enthusiastic in her showing us Palermo....the beach was very nice and the lunch nice.

Barcelona, Spain

I was very disappointed both with the excusrion and the city itself. Dirty, crowded, poor quality shops...overall yuch.

Pros: the food!

Cons: smoking everywhere practically
