The cab tour they offer is the best. It is 6 passengers which is very nice. This is the best off shore experience we had.

This was the jewel in the crown of visits. A little piece of UK tucked away in the med. We booked a whistle stop tour that included cable car to top of the rock to see the monkeys, visit to St Michael's caves (magical experience) and also a trip to the war tunnels. When tour ended we were dropped in the town centre for some shopping. The tour itself was very good, with the only downside being that we did not get to spend much time in each place, as so much to see in so little time. Shopping is great with some familiar names like M&S, Next, Morrisons and Matalan. Added bonus of being a duty free port. Would love to come back here one day.

Beware of the taxi touts they will try con you saying cable cars out of order. Alcohol is very cheap, perfumes aftershave and such not cheaper than UK also do research on UK prices a watch I was looking at cost £120 less in uk.

After reading reviews, we grabbed a Taxi for the standard tour. Well done. Stopped at St. Michael's cave after taking photos from the top of Gibraltar. The Cave with the light show was magnificent and we saw baby monkeys. However, when we were dropped off at the magnificent pedestrian shopping area, it turned out to be a mile back to ship and I have mobility issues, so that ruined what was otherwise a unexpected and fun stop.

We walked about 15-20 minutes to city center from ship. Been here previously so we just walked around town. Lots of shops and restaurants. It was very festive that day as preparations for Queen's jubilee was on its way.

Cable car ride is exhilarating; so are the Barbary apes. Tour guide (Karen) was the best we've ever had. Lots of British humour and sarcastic wit. Great history.

Walked to central area and enjoyed a lunch before getting a taxi back to the ship.
