This was a great port of call, beautiful and interesting. We chose to take public transportation (bus because of a train strike) to Monaco and Monte Carlo, which was a fabulous choice.

Villefranche is absolutely enchanting. Nice was nice, but I could have lived without it. Eze is truly amazing and I would love to go back and spend a few days there.

We went on the best or the riviera tour. It was wonderful. The tour guide was very nice and imformative.

Villefranche was beautiful! We took the train to Nice & sat on the Riviera all day on rented lounges with umbrellas. Friends of ours parasailed. The water was glorious. We then took a taxi back to the port & our driver gave us a tour. The people were amazingly friendly, something we were told not to expect in France. This port was a delightful surprise!

I loved St. Paul de Vence. Monaco was interesting but we didn't have much time at all to enjoy Monte Carlo. I would've loved to see Nice on foot but instead we received a one hour bus ride through the city.

Local bus service is excellent and much better bargain than the tours, but some knowledge of French is helpful.. Villefranche is a favorite port from which to embark on excursions, such as Nice, Monoco, Eze, and Cannes
