Touring Trier with a very Knowledgeable guide was an unforgettable experience. It was nice to have free time to shop and have a beer.

Rome of the North tour was just okay! The guide took us around then gave us an hour or so to roam on our own. Not very organized tour.

An enjoyable stop in Trier before spending most of the day in Reims where the Roman ruins were spectacular as was the Cathedral of Reims. Time on our own provided us with the opportunity to enjoy a lunch of wine, cheese, and escargot at a local café.

Very old well preserved Roman ruins. We were disappointed that we didn't get a chance to walk the ruins.

Loved Trier, as oldest city in Germany, walled city with much to see. City tour was very good, including Basicila, the Roman Bridge and Porta Nigra (original Roman wall). Definitely worth a stop.
