We didn't actually see Marseilles except from the Church on top of the Hill. Aix en Provence and Cassis were two of my favorite places on this trip! The Calanques in Cassis are not to be missed. Our guide was Lucille from Shore Excursions and she was very knowledgeable and courteous!

The cost of shuttle is 20.00 per person round trip. It was timely and reliable. I don't think the same could be said of the free shuttle which is a 15 min walk to catch. The old port is very nice and worth the money and long ride.

We took the shuttle into the town and took a train ride up to the cathedral on the hill-- the ride up took 35 minutes--spectacular views--the cathedral was beautiful and the view from the top was amazing . Had some delicious gelato in the town.

Be very careful with taxi drivers, very aggressive! Locals are very rude. It is a nice city but tourism is not very welcomed. There’s not a lot to see

We did the tiny train to the basilica. Great aerial views of the city and of the Basilica. Lots of status so be ready. We walked around then headed back tit he boat. Would recommend an excursion here you port in an industrial yard.
