This was a great cruise ship--I feel like I didnt get a chance to fully enjoy the ship due to being at port every day-- what I would have liked is a longer cruise where you are in port one day and have a day at sea the next day. I would definitely book this ship again.
Embarkation

This was our fastest embarkation ever-- Unbeknown to us the majority of the passengers embarked in Barcelona, we embarked in Rome. Total time for our embarkation was less than 5 minutes as there were no lines . We even had a special line for check in but didn't need it.

We bought a specialty dining package and went to the main dining room. The steak house, Chops, was fantastic, and I am not a big meat eater but every bite was delicious. I highly recommend it. For seafood we ate at Hooked. The lobsters were good but they were not Maine lobsters as we were told. I wasn't a fan of my dessert. I would go there again.'s
The pizza at Sorrento's was really good-- the place was open late--good place to get a late night snack. Brick oven pizza!! Kosher hotdogs--yes!!
Onboard Activities

There was tons of things to do---John did the zipline, even with his fear of heights. He also did the yellow slide several times. It did take him awhile to decide to take the plunge but you should have seen the smile after his first slide.
Entertainment

Hairspray was excellent--90 minutes with no intermission. Cast was wonderful and sounded exceptional. We also enjoyed the comedian.

All around we received excellent service. Our cabin steward, Anna, did a good job with our cabin, we just wished she would have smiled .
Ship Quality

This ship was fantastic---the thoughts I had as I was walking around was" this ship was designed to fix all the complaints that have ever been written regarding other cruise ships." We liked the fact that the lounge chairs on the top deck were stationary therefore the aisles were kept clear.
The ship was kept very clean--even after the midnight celebration where 1000 balloons were released from the ceiling and everyone was popping them on the floor.
Cabin / Stateroom

We had a lovely balcony cabin. There was plenty of room for all our belongings. The bed was very comfortable. We always had plenty of fresh towels.
We took a half day walking tour/boat ride/helicoptor ride as our shore excursion. The buildings were amazing-- would like to go back and really explore
We took the shuttle into the town and took a train ride up to the cathedral on the hill-- the ride up took 35 minutes--spectacular views--the cathedral was beautiful and the view from the top was amazing . Had some delicious gelato in the town.
Thanks for the review, can't wait for our trip in June, I want to do the zip line too for the first time, did your husband do it one time or did he want to do it again oh, was there a long line for it
