MUST provide better maps/information about the port distance to the city center. The ship port and the city center are actually nearly a 25 minute bus ride which was not clearly labeled on the port information therefore we wasted 1.5 hours getting lost.

Our favorite was a private guide out of Marsallie to Aix en Provance and Cassis. That was a tough stop.....no matter how much you see you will feel like you miss a TON. Same with the Nice stop. We went to Eze and Monte Carlo. Our teen age son says Monte Carlo is better than any car show he ever went to ....all the Saudi princes were there showing off their multi million dollar cars. He did a private tour being the passenger in a Ferrari and was in heaven.

Just walking around the harbor and enjoying the fish and flower market was quite romantic for us.

Don't take trip outside of Marseille. The city has lots to see or just relax by the water.

Beautiful port. We went on a trolley tour around the city, had lunhc at a cafe then did some shopping!

Go to Nice after they have completed their metro construction.

Exteremly dirty and way to much construction going on. Very hard to get around this area confusing streets. Along distance from port. The people at this port were not friendly overall.
