No tour necessary, just a shuttle to Vieux Port. We had a lovely day in Marseille. Took a bus up to Notre Dame de la Garde. Beautiful inside the church and excellent views of the city below. Had a picnic in a park. Walked to the local Catalans beach to enjoy the sun and refreshing sea. Got fresh crepes on the way back. Brush up on some basic French to get around the city.

Had not visited Marseilles before and was pleasantly surprised. Spent time walking round the Old Port. Our visit was on a Sunday but there were plenty of nice cafes to enjoy. Excellent stop, particularly if you have previously had long days in places such as Rome and Florence.

Did the Aix-en-Provence tour...not too far on the bus..beautiful city with lots of shops and wonderful cafes. We did walking tour just to learn about the city then wandered off on our own....well worth getting visit

Beautiful city. Didn’t do an excursion but walked around for a couple of hours. Be sure to pick up some handmade soaps at this port as they are made from completely natural ingredients & are very reasonably priced!
