Way to crowded to go shopping but the cathedral was wonderful. I could have spent hours looking and reading about this church and the history.

Highly recommend the Top of Cologne optional excursion if it is available. This was an incredible experience to see the Cologne Cathedral and go into areas the general public isn't allowed to go. Very unique.

The included tour of the city of Cologne was very interesting culminating in a tour of the magnificient cathedral in Cologne. In an optional tour, we did the Cologne's beer culture dinner excursion. This included dinner at a local Kolsch Brauhaus and Kolsch beer as much as you want. We visited several Brauhauses (brew houses) that night with Kolsch beer served in 7-oz glasses. It was a lot of fun.

Cologne was our favorite, from our guide to its history, its cathedral, its kolsch beer, its cologne and its vibrancy we thoroughly enjoyed our day there.

This was not my favorite stop. We did the Holy City Walking Tour and it rained. If I had to do it again, I would probably do the Kolsch Beer Tasting.
