We made our own way to Skansen which is amazing for all. Open air museum with traditional Scandinavian buildings and farms, entertainment and lots of animals. Huge place- even an aquarium. Amazing day spent here. We spent a little time in Stockholm Old Town (Gamla Stan) which was gorgeous but very very busy in August.

We arrived a day early. Easy to get from airport to city center. You can walk around the old town easily.

We got on the hop on hop off bus, which got stuck in Friday rush hour traffic. Taxi drivers are aware of this and will take your eyes out but it's better than missing the ship! The ABBA museum was great fun.

Another beautiful Baltic city. We joined private bus tour to sight see the points of interest. So many to see but not enough time. Vasa museum and Gamla Stan are must.

Beautiful city! Only regret is we took the Hop on Hop off Bus. £32 each. That would have been ok if the service had delivered, which it sooooo didn't 😡. Waited 1 hour for bus to take us back to ship from museum. Passengers were complaining travelling the other way too, about the overly long wait times. There was no explanation given either. We just made it back in time before embarkation. Chose not to do Hop on Hop off Bus in any further cities/ports and instead used shuttle bus and walked.
