better than 8 yrs ago, on different line. lucked out with weather. beautiful ship. the onboard internet access very nice for keeping in contact with family and projects at home. looking fwd to her return to FL base for winter Carib sailings. can't beat the marriott points either.

what can i say, all were stellar. in 9 day cruise, 18 lunches and dinners, regret we couldn't visit all 21 restaurants. did repeat a few faves.

waterparks, kids and adults, were pretty cool. big vid screen on fantail felt like outdoor imax.

wait staff nicely engaging. cabin steward very courteous.
Ship Quality

very clever design tweaks to our peeves on older ships. cabin doors open out to hallway. shower has door rather than flimsy curtain. slider to balcony, better than swing. the open air restaurants/bars on waterfront deck is welcome. putting the lifeboats under the promenade deck is great move. having the lifts at thirds of length rather than at each end saves many steps, and they reach all decks. the sliding doors to exterior spaces also much better than the heavy swing panels of old.
Cabin / Stateroom

all good. running lights with key card is good solution.
guess everyone should see it. but only once. still as unimpressive as eight years ago. fancy old buildings just getting older. natives are surly. river cruise was a different view. locals claim as "venice of the north", but stockholm more deserving. two day stop is one too many, but since you can't do am and pm shorex on same day, no other choice?
