I did a very busy two day excursion. We saw a lot. You need to be fit to enjoy it. We probably saw 5 days worth of attractions in 2 days. Russian immigration was slow on the first day.

Fantastic! We booked an independent 2 day tour with TJ travels, it was wonderful! Saved a lot of money over the cruise ship shore excursions.

St petersburgh is a beatiful place, well worth visiting. We did an accessible tour with Liberty Tours. There were 2 wheelchairs and 3 able bodied people. Our guide ,Olga, was fantastic, she was very knowledgeable. She was very good with ushering people so that the 2 wheelchairs could get through to the front of things we were being shown. Would definitely recommend Liberty Tours for anyone with wheelchaird.

While in St Petersburg for 2 days we enjoyed 2 excursions. The highlights of St Petersburg & a river cruise. A busy and beautiful city with lots of tourists. Be very cautious of pick pockets, one tried with me but was not successful.

We spent our time in and around the Hermitage. We did not go to the Hermitage...too crowded...but enjoyed being around the people in that area. We were there during the World Cup and that brought out people form different nations which was really cool. Took a canal tour. Be aware that if you don't take a Princess Excursion you will need a visa and if you plan on spending both days on your own there you have to have a multi-day visa. Princess does a very poor job in explaining which visa to get.

The Crown Jewel of the Baltics. Spend as much time and money as possible in St Petersburg. Extremely inexpensive. Must obtain a Visa prior to cruise or book an Excursion through the cruise line to exit the port. No exceptions.
