I arrived a day early to spend dome time in the Southampton Central. It is a very walkable area. Good shopping. Seasonal open-air markets. Some nice historical locations.

Chaos! From incorrect information to angry stewards! Not enough luggage trolleys for the amount of passengers. Not a great experience for my first cruise.

Not much to do here. Best to book either several days pre-cruise or post-cruise in London. We flew into London roundtrip, "coached" via National Express to Southampton to start cruise.
