Great port just walk right off the ship and you are in town. We did the tour of Conway castle and it was wonderful and the country side is beautiful .

Did our own walking tour. The observation deck in St John’s Beacon radio tower is a must see. It’s walkable from port. Albert Docks is full of stores, cafes, Skywheel, and much more.

We don’t do cruise tours but explore on our own. We enjoyed every city we visited. Celebrity doesn’t give you a whole lot of information unless you sign up for their tours, so studying up on all of the ports you plan to visit will give you great rewards.

Great town ... Especially if you are a beer and Beatles fan. Wonderful pubs/bars to relive the Beatles early years. Here you can also take in all attractions on your own and purchase tickets in advance online.

Liverpool itself wasn't that pretty or exciting, but we took the "Charming Chester" shore excursion to Chester that was terrific. Chester is a charming little medieval town with tons of old, half-timbered buildings and even some Roman ruins.

Living in Lancashire this a great port for us saving a 300 mile coach journey to Southampton.

What a beautiful port. Check out the Beatles statue and shop as it is not too far from the ship. We did the steam train llangollen and chirk castle tour through ncl, would not recommend. The steam train was a joke, a tourist trap with barely any views. The tour started in llangollen, which is a beautiful city in wales, it we didn’t have enough time. The tour drove you out of the way just to take the train back to where you started. The redeeming factor of the tour was Chirk, what a marvel. It is a very old castle in Wales and is definitely worth it. Be sure to check out the dungeon while you are there. Each room is unique and beautiful and it made the day so special.
