One of the biggest surprises of the ports. I thought Liverpool was only about the Beatles, but I was so wrong. It's about shipping and trade, the Mersey River, World War II communications and the Blitz, a thriving economy, a new shopping and entertainment complex called Liverpool One, the largest Chinatown in the world outside china, a maritime museum commemorating the Titanic, the Lusitania, and the slave trade from Africa to America. It's about music before and after the Beatles. Someday I'll go back. It's an awesome city. We were greeted by lively musicians playing “All My Lovin” as we entered the city from the cruise terminal.

Liverpool Is An Amazing City To Explore & Very Easy To See Most Places By Walking A Big Square! Of Course Liverpool Is Famous For The Beatles But It Has More To Do Also! Leaving Port You’ll See “The 3 Graces” Liver, Cunard, Liverpool Port Buildings With The Fab Four Statue For Photos! You Can Head To Museum Of Liverpool For Amazing Views Of “3 Graces” & Harbor! Can Take A Mersey Ferry Harbor Tour Or Spend Day At The Isle Of Man! Pier Head Is Where You Can Add A Love Lock, Shop Or Get A Bite To Eat At Prince Albert Docks, & Visit Tate Museum! Out Front Is A Carousel For The Kids While Heading To Liverpool One For Shopping! Here You Can Find Cavern Quarter Area Where You’ll See Plenty Of Beatles Stores, Shopping, & Attractions…Stop In To Hear Some Live Music At The Famous Cavern Club! Then Head To Wall Of Fame To See All The Bricks With Names Of Acts That Played Here👍Make Sure You Visit The First Chinatown In Europe On Your Way To See Churches! The Stunning Liverpool Cathedral, The Modern Metropolitan Cathedral AKA Patty’s Wigwam, Or St. Luke’s Bombed Out Church From WWII! Then Take A Stroll Down Bold St/Wood St/Fleet St Area To Shop, Eat, & Drink All Within 4 To 5 Blocks By City Center! Go To Radio City Tower For Views Of City! Or Head To Baltic Triangle For Cheap Drinks, Lots Of Bars, & Shoot A Round At Fang Mini Golf For Adults! And So Much More To Explore You’ll Want To Come Back To Liverpool Again!

Surprisingly fun stop, although it was short and we had to be on board by 3 pm. It was enough time to go through a couple museums and grab a meal. Shops are nearby and there's lots to do within walking distance. Bravo to the Liverpool port management for the splendid send-off with wonderful music and confetti! That was an absolute treat and so memorable. I can't imagine they do this for every ship, but it was such fun. We also found people lining up along the street and honking and waving as the ship pulled out.

Great Port, Ship parked right next to the city. Very conevenience to walk around. 10 min walk from Liverpool one and Beatles Musuem.

Beyond Beatles mania we found the city to be friendly and enjoyed the food. Not to be missed is the British Music Museum right by the port, you could spend 1/2 day but could also see it in about 90 minutes. We did it as a last minute item and it was the highlight of the port.

Best port. It is so near the city center, 5 min walk and you are on the ship again. Beautiful city! Uber was cheaper than other places in England, totally worth it. I wish I just had more time to spend there.

The museum is within walking distance from the ship.

Beatles! Beatles! Beatles! Really cool to pull into port and stand on the balcony to hear Beatles music playing loudly in port.
