Review summary

It was a very smooth sailing cruise with interesting ports of call, first class entertainment, friendly officers and staff, and great experience.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Very Easy and Efficient.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Specialty dinning was a must. The Opus Dinning Room was a not an enjoyable experience...Breakfast or Dinner.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Slot play was very tight.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
All the entertainers were absolutely first rate.

Children's Programs

No kids with us.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Wine Sommelier's were great. Martini Bar was fun.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The only complaint was the smoker areas made the sunset bar and pool bars not very useable to non-smokers.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Ship Steward Leslie was attentive to our every need.

Ship tip

Make sure you get a specialty dinning package and don't buy a beverage package

Ports of call

Ponta Delgada, Azores

5 out of 5
Did not take an excursion. Loved the island.

Cobh (Cork), Ireland

5 out of 5
It seemed like our excursion to Blarney Castle was cut short because of our port location and because of not leaving on time. We felt rushed to see the Castle and to take in the Woolen Mills all in the couple hours there .... It was confusing to get off the boat and get on the tour bus...directions were made complicated when really it was very simple.

Liverpool, England

5 out of 5
Yes, the Beatle Tour. We enjoyed the museum but the bus ride was a bit long ... we barely got back in time to rebound the ship. The tour guide almost overdid the information.

Dublin, Ireland

5 out of 5
Did not take an excursion. Did our own exploring and loved the city.

Disembarkation

1 out of 5
They "dumped" half the ship quests in 2 parks in the middle of the city and made them fend for themselves in finding transportation to a hotel. This was just wrong and most guests would have paid for help before leaving the ship.
