Review summary

Overall it was a good trip. Princess didn't do a superb job though. Food was of good quality; yet it lacked imagination, innovation or excitement. It was mostly standard fare and repetitive. The on board activities were mostly boring and the ships show performers really weren't that good. They were extremely disorganized on shore excursions that began on the pier. It was blamed on short staffing which if true is not speaking well for Princess when we paid top dollar for the trip.

We very much enjoyed the ports themselves and the excursions. Aside form the above complaints we had a relaxing time in the British Isles.

Loch Ness and the Castle were very interesting and beautiful. Would have been better if tour guide new her tour and didn't read from a card.

South Queensferry (Edinburgh), Scotland

3 out of 5
Beautiful City but again on the mile city walk the guide was trying for a record in speed. Left little time for pictures and he didn't try to keep the group together. Left too much time for the Palace.

Le Havre (Paris), France

5 out of 5
Definitely Paris is a wonderful city and the taste only makes you want more. Fantastic Guide

We agree, and we add that anytime dining is an absolute failure on Princess. My wife and I dressed for formal night expecting a nice dinning experience. We called for reservations, and we we told none were available but that plenty of room was available for anytime dining. When we tried to get a table, every dinning room turned us away at 7:35 saying they were full and now closed.
