Well worth a visit - Red Bus tour; the Mount Floyen funicular; the fish market

We took the red bus hop on n off city tour. Approx £23 each. No shuttle and about a five minute walk to the red buses and general bus stops into town.

Beautiful city. Buy your ticket for the funicular online before you leave UK as saves hours of queuing for a ticket. Still took over 30 mins to get on the train and you are all crammed on so not a pleasant trip but worth it for the amazing views.

Beautiful city. Did the 5 mile hike to Mt Flion. It was strenuous like they stated but worth the hike. View was beautiful.

Great location. Excursion went reversve way round than advertised. Rushed, over crowded, no time to appreciate the spectacular view and train ride. Lunch served at 10:30, fish inedible. less than 2 mins in Flam. 5 mins to look round Bergen. A real disappointment and waste of many hundreds of dollars!

Bergen is a very pretty city, and there is a lot to see. We did the included tour (best tour guide, by far), and the visit to the Stave Church and Grieg house/recital hall. The concert at the Grieg house far exceeded expectations. We stayed in Bergen for two days after disembarking. Do not eat the fish market -- the food is mediocre at insanely high prices. Anne Madam is just across the street and is far, far superior.
