Review summary

Good value cruise. Prices on board for drinks about the same as at home, but duty free sports and cigarettes extremely cheap. Under £10 for 1ltr whisky or brandy and cigarettes about 1/3 of the price at home

Freedom dining in the MDR was excellent. We had lunch most days Inn there which was good as well. The buffet leaves a lot to be desired. Very poor layout and cramped getting food, plus not nearly as much variety as on RCI or princess. Only breakfast juices available was orange. Lunchtime it was just water, apart from coffee and tea

Onboard Activities

Did quizzes which was ok, but it was too cold and windy to do shuffleboard or quoits

Entertainment

In house entertainers were good. Mike Doyle the comedy/ singer was first class, but the other comedian Josh Adams not so good

Nice comfortable cabin and very clean

Ship tip

Don't expect to view your onboard shop account in your cabin as you do on other lines. You don't get a receipt from the waiters so you have to go to customer services to get an updated account
