Bergen was a lovely town, we did the funicular trip up Mount floyn and we had a lovely view and even saw some goats! We the had fresh prawn sandwiches in the fish me market and tried some fancy apple juice.

Had an amazing time in Bergen. Would definitely recommend the Floien BergBahn or even the hike is the weather is permitting. Great restaurants and shopping stores.

Only did the hop on hop off but right next to the ferry port, two minute walk to the ticket station. Fish market is good to see.

Since i have spent time in Bergen, I took the Hardangerfjord & Highlands of Scenic Norway-7.5 hours. It did include a panoramic city tour as well and the the tour was very scenic. The Steinsdal Waterfall was fun because you can walk under it. I recommend it.

Such a pretty port. Make sure you check out the fish market it's amazing, however £16.50 for fish and chips from a van in the square is a little steep! Great shopping too! A little rough on the cobbles in a wheelchair though!

made me glad I live in the UK Bergen has 240+ days a rain a year. my tour guide said "there isn't bad weather, just bad clothes" but it is a lovely place with lovely people.

The fish market is not to be missed. Choose your fresh fish and they will cook it to order. At a very pleasant harbor.

I had always wanted to visit Bergen and I wasn't disappointed. The funicular brings you up to a beautiful overlook of the city and the walk to the lake is very quieting. The moss seems to soak up the sound, making for a peaceful day in the city. The old wharf area of Bryggen reminds me of what life along the quay in old Norway must have been like - even today, having a fish market so close to the quays reminds us of its heritage and the sea that made this City so important historically.

Using the Bergen one day card gave us several discounts at museums, the funicular, free transportation on busses and trains, free entry to the Fanthof Stabe Kirche. Have it mailed to your house before departure. The .Starbucks at the end of the cruise pier has freeinternet and free bathrooms.
