Review summary

I loved every minute of the cruise, I can't see what's not to like about it. everyone should give it a go. I don't normally do reviews but I wanted to help people who are wheelchair users like me, if I can do it you can.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
it was easy, very straightforward, everyone was very helpful.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
We used three main dining rooms, the Meridian, Peninsular and Epicurian for afternoon tea which was fantastic. We also went to the Verona & Venezia which are buffet restaurants which was great for just grabbing something when you feel peckish.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
there was a gym, swimming pools, table tennis although I didn't use any of them. there may also be other activities that I was not aware of.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
I loved the entertainment it was great. they had a group called Badness that were so entertaining.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
I found all of the staff, especially my butler Elvis (can it get any better than that) fantastic.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
being a wheelchair user the whole ship was amazingly accessible.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
I loved it, so much so I really don't ever want anything but a suite. it was lovely, I loved the balcony it was so big that I could sit out there with my large powered wheelchair and my two carers. I don't know what the bathroom was like because I wasn't able to use it. this was nothing to do with the accessibility of the room but rather my disabilities.

Ship tip

get used to it as quick as you can. figure out what you want to do, what you want to see etc. so that you can get there without going back and forwards and getting lost.

Ports of call

Southampton (London), England

4 out of 5

Stavanger, Norway

4 out of 5
it is a lovely little place and it was great getting into Norway.

Flam

5 out of 5
it is a lovely quiet little place with an amazing train that is 100% accessible even with a large powered wheelchair.

Olden, Norway

3 out of 5
I didn't really get to see what Olden had to offer as I went on a tour and the tour guide was great

Bergen, Norway

5 out of 5
made me glad I live in the UK Bergen has 240+ days a rain a year. my tour guide said "there isn't bad weather, just bad clothes" but it is a lovely place with lovely people.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
it was so easy, because I was in a suite I was one of the first off of the ship which was lovely.
