PISA, went to the Leaning Tower, should see in your lifetime, church just as beautiful! Good tour guide, counted her group, plus gave everyone an emergency sticker with a phone number, wise.

We had a excellent speaker presentation on board on what to see in Florence, including the the Uffizi Gallery, unfortunately it did not coincide with what the tour offered. We were in Florence and passed the the Uffizi Gallery, but could not go even though we had three hours to ourselves. In addition, the three hours was excessive especially since the tour also included a stop to Pisa, which is about an hour and half away, we got there at night in the rain.

We took round trip shuttle to train station. Had been to Pisa before and wanted to go straight to Florence. Train problems; all trains cancelled that day. Livorno is nice but we had a full day planned in Florence and were deeply disappointed. Suggestion: include one or more excursions which do NOT include Pisa for those of us who want more time in Florence.

Unfortunately it was raining and chilly the day we visited Florence. However, we made the best experience of it, our guide was good. She had a friend who owns a diamond/jewelry store and brought us all in there to listen to a speech and then tried to sell us expensive Jewelry. Our party left, we didn’t think that was appropriate. Florence is a beautiful Renaissance city and we would love to return.

Outstanding architecture and beautifully preserved. A rich history of the area and a wonderful spectacle to see.

Beautiful city didn’t have as much time as would have liked, we tried to be brave and take the local train and venture on our own, so because of times we had to take train to Florence then to Pisa, the ride was long and crowded and very rushed, we only had a hour in Florence and then headed to Pisa and had about 45 min there, thankfully able to see the leaning tower of Pisa and make the train back to port.

Pisa is about a 10 mile trip by train or taxi. Leaning Tower and nearby historic sites are very worth it.
