Overall our review of the celebrity edge is great! It’s a beautiful ship and we would definitely sail with this ship again. We loved our room, Infinity Veranda was amazing. Bathroom was spacious, plenty of closet space and draws. Our luggage fit easily under the bed. The ship is immaculate! Beautifully decorated! We loved the Eden lounge, the passed hors d’oeuvres were delicious. Overall, it was a fantastic relaxing transatlantic cruise home from a wonderful two week family vacation in Italy.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Main dining room and buffet were very good, specialty restaurants were OK…We thought the shops were quite expensive. My husband looks forward to getting a shirt with the ships name on it when we cruise however we didn’t want to pay the high price for a T-shirt. He was disappointed. The Internet was just OK...very slow and I kept having to check if I was still on Wi-Fi/Internet. I would lose it in certain parts of the ship.

The ships musical ensemble were amazing! Can’t give them enough stars. However, the entertainment was definitely lacking. A couple of good singers but that was about it.

Ship tip
Overall, a wonderful trip. I would definitely sale the celebrity edge again! We thoroughly enjoyed the transatlantic cruise home from Italy. After spending a couple weeks touring Italy it was nice to relax on a beautiful ship with family!
Unfortunately it was raining and chilly the day we visited Florence. However, we made the best experience of it, our guide was good. She had a friend who owns a diamond/jewelry store and brought us all in there to listen to a speech and then tried to sell us expensive Jewelry. Our party left, we didn’t think that was appropriate. Florence is a beautiful Renaissance city and we would love to return.
Leaving the ship was extremely easy. A little confusing because we were having breakfast when Our number was called about 45 minutes early. We went to the theater as instructed and no one was there so we followed the crowd. We got to our luggage and went through customs without a problem. Very easy process. However, when we tried to find our bus there was mass confusion. There was no one out there telling you what direction to go in if you had a bus going to the airport etc. etc. I’m just standing in the wrong line for about 10 minutes we finally followed another crowd going across the street… They also didn’t know where they were supposed to go. I finally asked the bus driver who was able to direct us in the right direction. I would suggest that you have people with signs stating if you are going to Fort Lauderdale your bus is located in this direction etc.
