Overall, the cruise was satisfactory. our main reason for selecting this cruise was because of the ports offered. Our experience with the tours were mediocre. However the staff and service was excellent and the, cuisine, ship and accommodations were beautiful and well cared for. More thought should be made in terms of diversity of ship board activities which were rather stale. Which isn't a problem if you are going on port tours, however if you are forced to stay on board during sailing and when we were not allowed to disembark in Italy in would have been nice to have more of a selection of activities on board.

Fitness instructor wasn't available, art classes were full before we got on board. Class was limited to 8 people, I am told this was because of Covid, however the classes were not everyday and only one hour on the days that it was held. More classes should have been scheduled to accommodate more people.

Size was perfect, Bath had a separate bath and shower. The bath came in very handy after a day of touring.
We were not allowed to disembark, because we did not have a scheduled tour. Italy does not allow visitors on ships to disembark unless they are with a tour provided by the ship. Unfortunately, the tours we wanted to book for Spezia were fully booked for months. More tours should have been offered at this port and for those who had to stay on board more ship board activities should have been arranged. In addition, the fact we could not disembark on our own was news to us. This should have been communicated way in advance
We had a excellent speaker presentation on board on what to see in Florence, including the the Uffizi Gallery, unfortunately it did not coincide with what the tour offered. We were in Florence and passed the the Uffizi Gallery, but could not go even though we had three hours to ourselves. In addition, the three hours was excessive especially since the tour also included a stop to Pisa, which is about an hour and half away, we got there at night in the rain.
