Did a private excursion with Rome in Limo. Driver met us at the port and took us to Pisa and Florence. I had prepurchased tickets to the tower at Pisa, so we were able to climb the tower. Beautiful views of the city and the campus in Pisa from the top of the leaning tower. Had lunch at a bakery in Pisa and continued on to Florence for some shopping and site seeing.

Amazing to see the leaning tower in person. The wine tasting in Tuscany is severely under sold. What a great excursion. It's not your typical wine tasting. We were taken on a horse drawn carriage tour of the property and we're told about the crops. The wine tasting offered full cups of wine of several different types. But the greatest part was we got to make the bread we'd have with the endless meats and cheeses To go with the wine. More wine, then we made cookies to have with the desert wine. The oven was a real 200+ year old brick oven.

I would recommend going to Florence and then Pisa if times permits. We took the train to Florence and stopped at Pisa on the way back.

Loved Pisa and Florence, but would have like more than one hour in Pisa. Not enough time

Loved this city. Get a guide to lead you to the most important sites as time is limited. Would be great if the ship could spend two days in this port rather than in Palma de Mallorca.

$15 bus to rail station and EU5 return to Pisa - bargain. Free internet available just before you board ship

Hop on hop off bus around the city. Runs once an hour. There is a tram ride to a church on the top of a hill that is included in the price.
