We thoroughly enjoyed our day with Laia as guide; just enough culture in Pisa and the Tuscan winery was delightful

We did the Livorno by boat excursion here. It wasn't what I had expected and wouldn't do it again. We also did the wine tasting and scenic drive through the Tuscan countryside and that was enjoyable.

We took a ship tour that included Pisa and time in Liverno at a beach on the coast. We had plenty of time at the leaning towere to shop and tour. Very nice time except the beach tour did not include a meal which was dissapointing given what we paid for the tour.

A train to Pisa only cost 10 Euros round trip and you can see all you want.

Main sites closed on the Monday.City was filthy. No place to sit. I really was looking forward to seeing Accademia and David. Disappointing.

The area around Pisa is very small and it takes about 1 hour to see it afterwards there's not much else.
