We took a ship tour and went to Pisa which was very nice. We also took the ship tour and did the wine tasting. This tour was a waste of time and money.

Livorno is a pit, Pisa was OK, and Florence was too far away..

This port was kind of a hassle. Take the bus to the train station and get a train ticket to Florence. The first stop on the way there is Pisa, so you can get off and see the tower, then go to Florence, or catch it on your way back. The line for the David is usually 2 hours, but you can make a rez online and skip the line. Pay attention to the time, Florence is about 1 1/2 hours from Livorno, and the tower in Pisa is a 30 minute walk from the train station.

Not enough time to do it justice. Would have enjoyed more time here and skip Barcelona to do so.,
