I love Florence. Climb to the top of the Duomo. It's not that bad (I know 436 steps sounds intimidating) but it's an easy walk up and the view is so worth it.

Get a group of six or eight, hire a car and driver an go to Cinque Terre or Sienna. We recommend Papillon Tours.

Did the Florence/Pisa tour. Long and hard but well worth the effort. Bathroom facilities are few and far between in Italy.

Loved seeing the leaning tower but felt very uncomfortable outside the tower walls as there were so many people pushing items to buy on us and would not take no for an answer so I would say do not do the excursion Livorno at your leisure.

a waste of time. North Africans selling knock off purses and sunglasses every step of the way. Very agressive and abusive. Blocked our tour bus from leaving.

Visiting the beautiful city of Pisa and then went to Tuscany for a wine tasting and lunch at a vineyard. Excursion booked thru the cruise ship so our 40 lunch mates were all on our ship. Great way to get to know everyone.

We took the Cinque Terra excursion and again had excellent tour guides. I can't wait to go for an extended trip!
