Loved the trip to Pisa it's a small place but the visit to the "Square of Miracles" where the leaning tower of Pisa is was well worth it. Florence has got to be one of the most beautiful cities in the world every time you turn the corner it just gets better the architecture is stunning. Again we booked this through cruisingexcursions.com.

Same as Rome, the port is far from the city and unless you're on an excursion, changes are that you will miss a lot of time waiting for the train and if the city goes on strike, then you are doom.

Wine tasting, Pisa, San Gimignano were good. Had the worst tour guide ever....Isadora. The tour guide didn’t provide us with any information on the sites.

There is no way to see all of Florence and do Pisa is the same day unless you rush everything. We did an excursion and only had 30 minutes at Pisa to take a picture and get back on the bus ot make it back in time. I would suggest spending your day in Florence and experience everything. Pisa isn't anything special except to take the famous "leaning" picture. If you're okay with being rushed around like we were, then it's doable.

Pisa is absolutely stunning. We climbed to the top of the tower, had time to peruse the little shops, our guide took us into a huge church that was gorgeous - I would absolutely recommend this excursion.
