Plan ahead- The port with the boat is very far from Rome- 1.5 hrs by train

We took the excursion for Bracciano and we enjoyed the scenery. The pizza served on the boat was so hard that it could crack my dog's head.

Very pretty city but in order to see it all you need more than one day

Rome was very busy. I think some warning about how busy and overcrouded Rome is can help passengers decide on the length of their excursion.

It's a long taxi ride to the port. Pre plan it.

Don't use the NCL 'Free shuttle' because it takes you to the wrong end of town where there is nothing but taxis to take you back!

I was so disappointed. Rome is FILTHY!!! Be prepared for rude encounters and lots of trash. The history is incredible though.

The cruise did not allow enough time to see everything in Rome. Dirty and busy city; but, very interesting.

Well, it's Rome! We definitely needed more time. I would return for a week visit. The Vatican is too crowded, I did not care to see it. I enjoyed walking around the city.
