Honeymoon in Italy!

Sail Date: November 20, 2010

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

I recommend this cruise for older couples. I dont think the ship was designed to keep young couple entertained. We didnt really do much of anything on the ship but eat because all the entertainment was centered around an older crowd. the ship was very pretty though.

Pros: loved the fact that we got to see different cities in italy and didnt have to pack and unpack to change cities:)

Cons: the food was definately more european than american, but im a picky eater .

Recommends Splendour of the Seas? Yes!

Entertainment
would have been better if we were older
Ship Quality
Need to be bigger
Food and Dining
huge selection just not my type of american food.
Cabin / Stateroom
worked great for sleeping and getting ready but trying to put more than 2 people in an interior stateroom would get very crowded
Service and Staff
very nice staff
Split, Croatia
Not much to do in the port area
Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy
Very pretty city but in order to see it all you need more than one day
Toulon, France
more commercial not tourist friendly
Naples, Italy
Pompei was awesome.
Livorno (Florence & Pisa), Italy
