Rome is a beautiful city. We did not do a RC excursion, but rather stayed in Rome for a couple of days before embarkation. Per my previous comments on embarkation, RC transport to the ship made it very easy to do Rome as you please as long as you want before embarkation and worrying less about getting to the ship.

The port is 90 minutes away from Rome. We visited Rome after the end of the cruise and stayed at the Albani Hotel. I truly wished I had stayed more days in Rome. I absolutely loved this city. The locals are all very very friendly! We walked 9 miles and visited as much of the history of the town as we could. The food was outstanding as well. I’m going back!
