Crete is a large island and Chania was a pleasant stop but not representative of the island. Nice shops/cafes and lovely habour area

Didn’t have much time here. Took the shuttle into town and wanted around the market and docks.

Beautiful, we went to the monastery and the cemetery where all the Martyrs from WWII are buried. Then we went to a small Venetian Harbor. Best olive oil.

We loved this port but you have to take a bus from where the ship docks to Chania which is uncomfortable, over packed and takes 20 minutes. Lots of shopping and places to eat and the harbor area so stunning.

We took a bus from the ship to the old town center. From there we walked to the harbor and then to the lighthouse. Lots of shops and restaurants. Picturesque.

Went to Costa Costa Beach - nice, relaxing with the exception of the numerous vendors trying to sell you something.

Loved being in Greece we didn't want to leave. We enjoyed walking around and sitting out in the open eatting breakfast enjoying the scenery. We didn't do an excursion.

Took city bus into old town. Not my favorite island. But was ok. Busy place . We just spent the day walking around. Still made it a good day.
